I have something to share with you. It’s going to sound strange, but here goes: for a couple of years now, I’ve been getting messages from the universe.
Really.
They always seem to come in the hours before dawn, where I can digest them while the house is still quiet, before the daily craziness ensues. When they first started, I was unsure what to think of them: were they really meant for me?Should I laugh them off or ignore them? Or was there something in them I should pay attention to and and take seriously?
Over time, as they continued to show up, I began to look forward to them. I became eager to decipher their meaning and on the few days they didn’t come, I missed them. But I haven’t told you the really strange part. They show up in my email inbox.
What I’m talking about is a free service you sign up for and every weekday morning you receive a message in your email from the “universe.” Most are fun and clever while a few are corny, but all of them seem to be just what I need to get a jump on the day.
Someone once said, “A coach is a person who makes you do all the things you don’t want to do, so you can become the person you want to be.” Good words, however, I’m a big believer in being your own coach—something I’ll talk about in another post—because as much as I trust in the right coach and mentor, and always have an eye out for one, they are not always with you, every hour of the day. We must develop our own coach/mentor mentality to create the best selves we can be. But I digress.
These notes from the universe are just what I need to ensure I’m in the right frame of mind at the beginning of the day. They are the “coach” that fires me up, or makes me think before the day’s chaos begins. My only complaint is they only come on the weekdays. I suppose the universe thinks most people don’t need a pep talk on the weekends.
I’ve passed them on to several friends, all who were a little unsure of them at first, but soon came to cherish their arrival. So if you’d like a little oomph to start your day, give them a try. You can sign up here.
Seeing the title I almost didn’t have time to read this one. Thanks – signed up full fledge member of TUT. Admire the concept and glad you could point me once again in the direction of better living!
I, too, receive Notes From the Universe. Many times they mirror exactly what I am experiencing, or about to, as with the carnival he talked about a year ago. I drove uptown that day, only to see a carnival setting up on the edge of it! I Love how the Universe mirrors our thoughts back to us. It’s my understanding that more and more people are receiving messages from The Universe, especially in the wee morning hours. These messages/images always provide food for thought, action I need to take, or clarification on an issue I’m working on. Some remain enigmatic, while I await further direction or understanding. The Universe is amazing and beautiful. Ain’t we got fun?
There is nothing strange about getting messages from the universe. I’ve been getting them from years, but I didn’t know I’d have to pop open my computer to get one. Mine come from connecting with the right person at the right time. Those meetings often lead to solving a problem or creating a clear path to a positive future. Like your messages, many of my messages from the universe come early in the morning, while I’m still dreaming. That’s why I write from the heart that which stirs my soul. The story in my novel, Whispers from St. Mary’s Well, came to me from my dreams, which is why I always hit the keyboard at four or five o’clock in the morning. The universe speaks well. Not being as young or techno-savvy as you, I didn’t know I could find such messages in email. I’ll have to check it out. As always, I’ve just learned a lovely Lesson from the Cockpit.
TUTS morning morsels are thought provoking and positive. From one supercoolhappylovething to another 🙂
