What decisions will you make today to change your future?

Are you living the life you want?

The one you dreamed of when younger, when you were full of hope and ambition and excitement? If the answer is yes, congratulations on reaching something that eludes many people. No need to read further. Go out and celebrate what you’ve accomplished.

But if you are one of those people who look around and think, I can do better…  you are not alone.

For many people, life just happens to them. For some, that’s okay. But if you are like me, you don’t want life to just happen to you. You want to live with purpose, to make life something great, something meaningful. Yet great, meaningful accomplishments rarely happen by accident. Most of the time you must make them happen. But it’s easier than you think, if you know what to do.

Maybe you are thinking it’s too late… that your best years are behind you and making changes now are a waste of time. It’s not. Why?

Because it’s never too late to become the person you wish to be.

For most people, it’s overwhelming to think of all the effort required to get from where they are now in life, to where they want to be. But those people underestimate how tiny steps toward a lofty goal build upon themselves to gain momentum over time and accelerate change. I will explore this concept often in future posts.

But a big reason it’s not too late to change your life, no matter what your age, is a tremendous shift is coming in human longevity. This is not science fiction or wishful thinking. We are all about to live much, much longer, with youth and vigor, well into 100 years-old and beyond. It’s real, it’s coming, and it’s another concept I’ll explore in this blog often.

So you may have more time than you think, both in everyday living, and the years ahead of you. Join me to use that time to build the no-regret future we both want for ourselves.
